Moving to Google Analytics

It’s final.

I am fed up of all the limitations that Jetpack Stats has. gauravtiwari.org is finally moving entirely to Google Analytics. This means that per-post views will no longer be shown. This is one of the key steps taken to uninstalling Jetpack from gauravtiwari.org.

Jetpack was one of the most important plugins that came installed with gauravtiwari.org when I moved it from wordpress.com. It brought WordPress.com stats and other features alongside. So I had to keep it. But enough is enough. They haven’t improved the stats feature a bit and currently that stands nowhere near to what Google Analytics has to offer.

Since Jetpack’s JSON API integrates with our Android App, I will keep it installed until a new update for the Android app is released.
